Fisheries Department
History and Mission
The Department of Fisheries at the Persian Gulf University was founded in 1997 in the Agricultural and Natural Resources college. The department served undergraduate students until 2012 when a master degree was added to the group.
In 2016, Department of Fisheries was transferred to the original campus of the Persian Gulf University. Presently, the combined expertise of this group, including 3 associate and 4 assistant professors, covers all major area of aquaculture and fishery sciences, working as a part of the Faculty of Marine Nano and Bio science and Technology of the Persian Gulf University.
